Bridal Cupcake

I had the honour to made my best friend some wedding cupcakes, for our own special party.
she planned her wedding way way way before it happened. she actually bought all the paper cupcakes, the decoration, the sprinkles, the sugar flowers, the snow man, teddy bear..etc

everything on the cupcakes was her own choice.
i have nothing left to do, other than bake, and put every bit of decoration together. and it was FUN. it was like making a jigsaw puzzle that only your mind can create.

her them was snowy winter. and i loved that she bought that snowman decoration.

Name and Family Cupcakes

I made this cupcakes because i have some leftovers from the cupcakes yesterday.
since that day I have a hang out session with my friends, so I just made some name cupcakes for them.

They also volunteered to be a complimentary model for my kitchen ^-^

Cupcakes for Daddy/Hubby

My friend ordered these cupcakes for her dad's birthday.
Since it's for a dad, i decided to make it simple, she told me that her dad likes to play badminton and chess.

since i don't have the patience to make a chessboard -_-, so i did the badminton cupcake instead. it's the one in the middle.

I've been getting quite a lot of orders for my cookies lately. These 3 cookies are my bestsellers. Everytime I baked these cookies, I have to make extra, because my siblings and my parents always take some for themselves. They can't keep their hands off my cookies :)

HUGE Apologies!!

I am very very very sorry for the lack of blog this past few weeks. I had my exams, and the timetable was crazy!! 6 exams in 3 days! Plus I had to go to Bali for my best friend's wedding. It was a really hectic weeks for me.

I didn't do much baking or decorating in those days. I only did some cupcakes and cookies for my friends.

now i have some more free time. and will try to update my blog soon

I just bought a Ball shaped pan. For this cakes,is more like an experiment for me. It didn't turn out as good like in the book. But I'm quite happy with it.

Lemon Pie

In the previous post, I made key lime pie with meringue topping. This time i tried making lemon pie with no topping at all

These are heavenly smooth and delightful. They are tangy and sweet at the same time, a delicious combination.

These pies are great without the meringue topping!!

Ivy's First Birthday

This is a birthday cake for my niece, she's turned 1 last friday.
her cakes are bee hives with bees on it, it's my usual dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting, covered with orange fondant.

the middle tier are mini cream puffs with original pastry cream

and the last tier are mini vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and sprinkled with orange sugar.

cream puffs with pastry cream. I have been trying to perfect this recipe and yesterday i did it. this is s goodness of crispy puffs with the creamiest pastry cream on the inside.

customers have an option whether they wanted rum in the pastry cream or not.

Caramelized Meringue Kisses Cup

I had way too many egg whites yesterday, i have about 12 egg whites, and I have no idea what to do with it. So, i just made some meringue kisses.

This meringue Kisses are the same as the ones in the lebaran section, but i made them in a mini muffin pan, and slightly bigger size.

I made them a little bit brown, because i don't like them to taste like half-cooked egg whites. Therefore i came up with caramelized meringue kisses.

Hippo Cake

A friend of my cousin wanted a hippo cake for her friend's birthday. This is my first time making an animal faced cake. i thought i did pretty well..(i hope). i asked a lot of people what kind of animal is this, and majority of the response was a hippo... although i did get some weird answers like ox, panda and mouse..

MIni 3 tiered cake

I went to this shop in Kemang, it's called Pastry magic .. it was my second time to go to that store, and I still take my sweet time to wander through the store, even though i have seen everything before

One item caught my eye, and it is the mini tiered cake pan. One pan can bake 4 tiered cakes. It's just so simple, rather than cutting the cakes and putting it on top of each other.

This is just one of my creation for the cake.

It was packaged in a Bamboo box, and wrapped with pink tulle and pink ribbons.
